VIEW QUEENSTON HEIGHTS AND HYDROPOWER STATION

On our Niagara Falls Day tour customers will get to view The Queenston Heights and the Hydropower Station along the way to Niagara Falls.

Located high on top of the Niagara Escarpment Queenston heights is a combination of scenery and history. It marks the historic landmark site of The War of 1812 Battle of Queenston Heights and is also home to the monument of war heroine Laura Secord as well. There are 235 stairs that go up inside the monument leading to a viewing area that is closed at the top

The Sir Adam Beck Power Station is one of Canada's largest hydroelectric plants and is a great example of how we use energy generated by the water cascading down the Niagara Falls to power our lives today as well as in the past.

These two sites have large meaning and history behind them and are a small example of attractions, monuments and interesting facts that our tour guides will educate you on during the tour.
